Beyond Borders Scholarship
Launched February 5, 2026, the Beyond Borders Scholarship funds Black high school students from Hampton Roads to attend Operation Smile's International Student Leadership Conference: a seed scholarship, fundraising coaching, and mentorship through the trip.
The first two recipients, Destiny Jones of Norfolk and Emmanuel Scott of Suffolk, traveled to Bangkok, Thailand. It was the first time either had left the country. The same night the scholarship launched, Operation Smile dedicated an area of its Interactive Learning Center to Reggie Prevail and the Prevail Foundation, recognizing a $20,000 gift.
Our Approach
- We move quietly.
- We measure in lives, not metrics.
- We give without performance.
"A scholarship is a transaction. A mentor is an inheritance."
